Malebogo’s films have screened at the Locarno Film Festival, New Directors/New Films, Blackstar Film Festival, New York Film Festival, SXSW, Clermont-Ferrand, and AFI Fest, among others. His works have been programmed on Le Cinéma Club, Topic, Vimeo Staff Picks, and MUBI.
Tebogo has been supported by BAFTA, Berlinale Talents, The New York Foundation for the Arts, Blacktag, and initiatives at New York University where he was awarded a scholarship to study in the Graduate Film Program.
He is currently in development on his feature film debut Where is the Healer?, which follows a street-caster who becomes entangled in the lives of others after orchestrating fake miracles. The project was presented at Cannes Film Festival’s Marché du Film and awarded the SFFILM Rainin Grant for Screenwriting.
